Grandparents Day

Thakur School of Global Education advocates the fact that a child’s real education starts at home. The family, especially grandparents, plays a major role in creating a culture full of moral values for the children. They help in creating a homogenous environment in the house which gives a sense of security to the child.

We celebrated Grand Parents day on Monday, 12th September 2022 to honor grandparents, to give them an opportunity to show love for their children’s children, and to help children become aware of the strength, cultural practices, good traditions, and guidance older people can offer. The function started with welcoming the grandparents with props to capture moments of life with their grandchildren with a beautifully prepared photobooth. We had games in which grandparents participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The grandparents sang for their grandchildren. The winners of the games were greeted with gifts by the Head of the School which brought a twinkle to their eyes. Appropriate music and enthusiastic grandparent-grandchild combinations made this event a great success.
