Admissions offered for Cambridge Assessment International Education:

Admission Process:

The admission process comprises of the following stages:

Obtaining the Brochure and application form for Admission, from the School office.
Submitting the duly completed Application form and supporting documents to TSGE Admin office and paying the Registration fee within the specified period.
Communication of the admission decision to parents.
Acceptance of the admission by the parents and payment of applicable fees, charges / expenses.
Confirmation of admission by Thakur School of Global Education.

Age Criteria:

For admission to Thakur School of Global Education, we normally expect the child to have been born in the year shown against the respective classes

Class	Description
Nursery	Child should have been born on or before 31-DEC-2021
Prep I	Child should have been born on or before 31-DEC-2020
Prep II	Child should have been born on or before 31-DEC-2019
Grade I	Child should have been born on or before 31-DEC-2018

Application for Admission:

Application form for admission and relevant documents can be obtained from the School Office.

The application form duly filled along with a recent Passport size photograph affixed must be submitted to the School Office on or before the last stipulated date, along with the following documents:

One certified true copy of School Reports of the last three years (Wherever applicable).
One certified true copy of the child's Birth Certificate, on which the name of the child should be mentioned. Birth Certificate must be in English. If it is in Hindi or a regional language, an English translation of the same on Rs.100/- stamp paper, duly notarised must be submitted. Original Birth Certificate must be produced for verification.
Aadhar card of child and parents.
Non refundable Registration fee in cash or demand draft drawn in favour of "Thakur School of Global Education" or "Zagdu Singh Charitable Trust", (as applicable) payable at Mumbai.
Transfer Certificate from the last school attended. If the child is coming from outside Mumbai, the Transfer Certificate should be duly countersigned by the Education Officer of the area.
For children (Indian nationality) coming from abroad the Transfer Certificate must be duly attested by the Indian Embassy / High Commission. The date of birth of the child should be clearly mentioned in the Transfer Certificate.
Two stamp size photographs of (i) child (ii) both the parents to be submitted along with other documents.
Two stamp size photographs of the child in school uniform against red background to be submitted once school uniform is received.

The Academic Calender and various dates mentioned here are indicative of plans and are subject to change. Students will be expected to stay back for longer hours on certain days and attend school on some Saturdays.

Student Dress Code:

All students must wear the complete school uniform along with their ID cards within the school premises.
Wearing the ID card is mandatory and non-transferable. It must be returned to the School Admin Office upon admission cancellation. Loss or damage should be reported in writing for a duplicate card, subject to applicable charges.
During the monsoon season, plain black floaters are recommended. Raincoats are encouraged over fancy umbrellas.
Girls with hair longer than shoulder length should tie them in one braid or pony with black colour hair tie. No nail polish, mehandi, kajal, etc., allowed. Boys' hair should be trimmed neatly, with no fancy haircuts, streaks, or colouring permitted.
No jewellery or fancy/digital wristwatches are permitted. The school bears no responsibility for their loss or damage.
Only prescribed school cardigan is allowed.
Leggings are not part of the uniform. Prescribed PE/sports uniform must be worn during PE lectures or extra coaching.
Students should be in complete school uniform during field trips and PTMs
PE uniform should be worn on designated days as communicated by the school.

Fees:

Fees are Payable quarterly by way of Cash or Demand Draft drawn in favour of Thakur School of Global Education” or “Wonder Years Pre-School” (as) applicable) payable at Mumbai.
Details of fee structure can be obtained from the school office.

In addition to the fees, parents will be required to meet the expenses towards textbooks, notebooks, materials and activities, uniform, school lunch, breakfast, school transport, educational trips, excursions, major school events / programmes, fees for Public / Board examinations and any other requirements in connection with their child’s education at Thakur School of Global Education.

The Fees should be paid in four equal installments. The first installment is to be paid at the time of admission subsequently, on or before 15th May, 15th September, 15th December, 15th March.

The fee schedule given is subject to change from time to time, at the discretion of Thakur School of Global Education management. The School will communicate to parents any revision in the fee structure.

Surcharge per month is charged if the fees / charges are paid later than the specified period.
The Security Deposit is collected against damage to, or loss of, library books, laboratory equipment, computer facilities, and other equipment or assets of the School. It will be refunded without interest, after adjustment of dues, if any, on completion of the child’s studies at / withdrawal from Thakur School of Global Education.
Fees once paid will not be refunded.

Thakur School of Global Education has put in place policies and regulations necessary for the effective functioning of the school. It reserves the right to amend its policies and regulations wherever and whenever considered necessary and appropriate. Admissions and Withdrawals:

Registration forms for new admissions are issued in September / October every year. New admissions are subject to availability of seats.

Every admission will be provisional until the submission of applicable documents.

School Transfer Certificate will be issued on the submission of prescribed format of cancellation (Transfer Certificate Application Form) in School E-almanac along with relevant documents. A notice of one full calendar month must be given before the withdrawal of the pupil, failing which fees will be charged for the notice period.

Procedure for Cancellation of Admission:

All the documents should be submitted personally in School Admin Office.

Due to any unforeseen circumstances, Transfer Certificate Application Form can be submitted through parent’s registered email id along with the required documents.

The students who do not wish to continue for the next academic year, their parents need to apply for the cancellation before 15th April of the current academic year.

The following documents will be needed at the time of cancellation:

Transfer Certificate Application Form

Original Security Deposit Receipt
Copy of receipt of the last Qtr. Fee paid
Copy of Cancelled cheque.

Security Deposit will be refunded by the end of the term after deducting the remaining dues, if any.
