A Celebration of Stories at Thakur School of Global Education*The Wonder Years at Thakur School of Global Education recently embarked on a fascinating journey through the world of books, culminating in a vibrant book parade. This event aimed to foster a love for reading, creativity, and self-expression among the young learners.
𝗔 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗯𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀-Dressed in colorful costumes, the students proudly paraded their favorite book characters, ranging from beloved classics to modern tales. From Alice in Wonderland to Harry Potter, the array of characters was a testament to the diversity of the students’ reading interests.
𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-The book parade showcased the students’ creativity through elaborate costumes, props, and accessories. Each participant brought their chosen character to life, demonstrating an understanding of the story and its themes.
𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲-As the students walked through the parade, they shared brief summaries of their chosen books, showcasing their storytelling skills and confidence. This exercise helped develop essential communication skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴-The book parade successfully instilled a love for reading in the Early Years students, encouraging them to explore new stories and characters. By making reading a fun and engaging experience, the event helped shape a lifelong appreciation for literature.
